HMA (Huron Manufacturing
Association) Excellence
Awards held on Wednesday,
November 5, 2008 at the
Knights of Columbus hall, in
Goderich. As a result of
sorting through the
multitude of applications
for the HMA-Heartland
Apprenticeship
Scholarships--$1000 each,
four finalists were
selected, two are former
Co-operative Education
students from St. Anne's
Catholic Secondary School.
They included Scott P.
and Jeff M.. Scott was
an OYAP student at Bilcke
Electric and is still
working there as a
Construction and Maintenance
Electrician Apprentice. Jeff
M., also a previous
OYAP student, is still
working at South Huron
Automotive as a Auto Service
Technician Apprentice.
